Q. What is the difference between a coach and therapist?
A coach generally works with you on attaining future results. Therapists tend to examine your past. Your coach starts with the assumption that you already posess the ability to acomplish your goals. Ability may include skills or the ability to learn skills.

Q. How does coaching work?
Depending your needs and our agreement, we will meet by telephone two to four 30 minute sessions per month. How often, when, where, how we meet as well as the duration of our meetings can be customized to meet your needs.
I require a minimum three month commitment as it can take time to start to feel the momentum and see the results.
However my life coaching services come with a 30 day money back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with the progress you are making by the end of our first month of working together, let me know and, if I am unable to address your concerns to your satisfaction, I will refund 100% of your money back to you.

Q. How do I choose a coach?
Coaching is a personal experience and I want you to have a great experience.
Here are a few tips:
- Always interview at least three coaches and then choose the one that seems to fit you best.
- With very few exceptions, you would be wise to steer clear of any coaches who refuses to offer a free coaching strategy session, sometimes also referered to as a complementary or introductory) session.
- Ensure that the potential coach is a members in good standing of the International Coaching Federation (ICF). While this doesn't offer any guaranties, all ICF members have agreed to abide by a code of ethics and professional standards set out by the ICF.

Q. What happens if I can't make it to my session?
In order for coaching to be effective, both the coach and the client must be committed to the process.
That being said, I do understand that from time to time, situations which are beyond our control can. That being said, I do schedule our time together and it is not always possible for me to fill your spot at the last minute.
You may reschedule a session subject to your coaches availability as long as you give me least 24 hours (1 business day) notice by email or by telephone. Cancelled sessions are not usually refundable.

Q. How do I pay for my sessions?
Payment for a month of sessions must be made in advance. If you wish to pay on a per session basis, payments must still be in advance however this arrangement has a higher cost and is not recommended unless you only need a session or two. Note however that you may modify your payment plan prior to making your next payment.
You can pay by Cheque, PayPal or by Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Diners).
Please note that it can take up to two weeks to process a payment by cheque. As such, you must get your payment in as soon as possible as all payments must be made in full at least 48 hours (or two weeks in the case of a cheque) before your first session.

Q. How much does coaching cost?
The cost of coaching depends on a number of factors such as:
- Whether you are looking for personal, group, business or retreat coaching
- The number of sessions per month
- The duration of each session
- Coaching by telephone or in-person
- Where you are located in the world
For example, here is a list of rates for telephone coaching for clients within Canada or USA for a typical session of about 30 minutes each:
- One (1) session is $297 per session.
- Two (2) sessions is $397 per month.
- Three (3) sessions is $497 per month
All prices are quoted in Canadian (CAN) dollars. HST tax is applicable for Canadian residence.
Payments for the full month are always due in advance and must be received before your first session. Payments can made by Credit Card, Paypal or by cheque. Cheques must be made out to TNG Consulting Inc and must be receive at least two weeks before the first session in order to allow time to process the payment.
Please be sure to contact me for up to date coaching rates as my rates may be increasing later this year. I also welcome any questions or concerns you might have, or would like to receive a quote for types of coaching other than personal coaching.
